obviously i am having major autumn withdraws...i am already getting overly excited about boots, scarves, comfy jackets, fall candles, apple crisp, non frizzy hair, crisp wind, ahhh!!

Cabin fever

these are some film snap shots I took from a lovely weekend up north.  i wish i could go back there now. we spent the whole weekend building fires (well Dan was the only one to do that), drinking gin and tonics, playing yahtzee, reading, eating, breathing in fresh air (no city smog---or smell of garbage from the alley!) waiting for the raccoons to eat the presents of graham crackers and bacon grease my mom left out for them. it was just so nice to get away and relax!

Well, it looks like the hot weather is here to stay! What better way to celebrate summer than eating a delicious ice cream cone!  I hope these pictures inspire you to head to the nearest custard shop today.
